Remembering

Organised by Pushing up the Daisies. Saturday 6 November, Perth Subud Centre.

We invite you to think about someone you would like to remember and honour at the event. It may be someone close to you who has died, or perhaps a family member who died many years ago but whose memory you still cherish - maybe even someone you never actually met. Or perhaps your work brings you into contact with death and loss on a more regular basis and you may wish to honour a number of people who have died in the last year. Just bring a name or names and, if you like, a small object - a photo perhaps.

There will be an opportunity to say a few words about this person - but only if you wish, you may prefer just to say a name. Or to remain quiet - silence can be powerful and eloquent.

We will have a little music, perhaps a short story, there will be poetry. And candles, points of light against the fading day.
