The Peacock Nursing Home in Livingston are remembering their Absent Friends with a musical afternoon. It will be an opportunity to reunite relatives who have lost their loved ones while they were a resident in the home.
It will be a cheerful afternoon of music and memories with a guest singer performing the favourite songs of past residents. Light refreshments will be provided.

In partnership with Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief, the Scottish Poetry Library will be creating a space in which people can come together to talk about lost loved ones through conversation and poetry. Groups will be considering how poetry can provide solace and comfort; it can be a way to remember and be remembered.
An informal café style event in which folk can gather to hear poetry readings and share their own poems, or poems written by others, around the ideas death and remembrance.
Tea and cake provided. The event is free but booking is essential. Please note that the event is restricted to 15 people only, so book sooner rather than later if interested.

Support for Ordinary Living are holding a Cafe of Reminiscence in their Wishaw Office. The event will give people a space to talk to either friends or strangers and share stories and memories of the people they have loved who have died in a welcoming environment over tea and cake.
There will also be a To Absent Friends wall where you will be able to write a tribute to your loved one and share it with people.
The event is open to everyone. You don't need to be connected to the organisation to come along and take part.

They are holding a night to remember loved ones, at which people can remember, reminisce and make beautiful memory jars.
