Absent Friends Lunch

Sunrise logo

Sunrise Partnership and the GATE Project are co-hosting an Absent Friends Lunch.

The aim of the event is to support and encourage people to remember family and friends who have died, and to share stories and memories of them in a supportive and relaxed environment.

As well as a picnic style lunch there will be a story teller and some activities designed to facilitate remembering and talking about absent friends. The GATE (Good at the End) Project volunteers will distribute their resources to those who are interested. These resources are designed to encourage forward thinking and planning, and to help normalise conversations and planning around end of life and loss.

There is no charge for the event, but please register in advance if you wish to attend by emailing or phoning Sunrise Partnership on 07827 755735 before 2 November.
