Butterfly Blessings

The community of Smithton Primary School will gather in the Season for Growith Garden to remember their loved ones who have died.

There will be a table for children to do arts and crafts of suncatcher butterflies and painting pebbles, and learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. A Buddleia plant will be planted to attract attract butterflies in spring and summertime. A selection of hot/cold drinks and cakes/ biscuits will be on offer.

During this event the Seasons for Growth Garden will be open to the community, and people can sit around a campfire and share stories, songs or poems of their loved ones who have died.
