Tartan Harmony

Tartan Harmony

Those irrepressible, musical Tartan Harmony ladies are inviting their friends - old, new and friends to be - to come to a celebration of loved ones’ lives.

This will not be a sad or melancholy occasion, the ladies insist, but a joyful celebration of life and love.

In addition to the close harmonies of Tartan Harmony, there will be appearances by other friends of the award-winning a cappella chorus:

  • Sian Winstanley, who’s getting a name locally for her lovely evenings of swing as well as international acclaim as a classical Soprano, will sing.
  • Pauline Vallance, award-winning song-writer and harpist, will be joining the other guests, fresh from her tour of Canada and after delighting the Edinburgh Fringe with her combination of quirky, humorous songs and more thoughtful pieces.
  • JAMM!, Tartan Harmony’s "little sister" quartet will be providing their own harmonies
  • Alicia Tindall will be singing solo.

The evening is set to be packed with music along with poetry and readings. On top of this, there will be free refreshments in the interval, so buy your tickets now before they sell out.
