Remember to Remember – Our Dear Friend Ina Campbell

The Women’s Centre is holding a day of celebration to remember Ina Campbell. Ina was a much-loved and respected member of The Women’s Centre community. Having accessed the service as a beneficiary over 20 years ago, she then gave back as a volunteer. There, she shared her knitting and cross stitch skills with other women in the community. Ina was also a volunteer board member for a period of time and contributed to the strategic development of the organisation.
Ina was one of those people that you never forget after meeting her, thanks to her charismatic, funny, no-nonsense, yet always kind personality. Her passing affected all of The Women’s Centre community from service users, staff and board members. The day will consist of a discussion around how grief affects us all, we will share poems, memories, have food and unveil the garden bench that has been made by the Men’s Shed in memory of Ina. Everyone is welcome and we hope to see old friends and perhaps some new ones.
