Memory Pebbles & Lasting Impressions

Create your own memory pebble! Join staff at the Margaret Kerr Unit at the Borders General Hospital and paint a pebble to create a personalized and lasting memory of a loved one. Also at the Lasting Impressions Workshop, enjoy the opportunity to create a personalized lasting impression tile that will form part of a mosaic on the MKU wall.

Unforgettable from Poetry Circus

Poetry Circus presents their annual alternative cabaret with an emotionally-uplifting evening of stories, poems and songs about all the unforgettable folk who are no longer with us but live on in our hearts.

Our feature performer for 2019 is the incredible

Jo Gilbert - poet, performer and general Doric goddess - and she is supported by a stellar cast of astounding spoken word artists: Imogen Stirling, Rachel Amey, Stella Birrell, Mairi-Claire Traynor, Fiona Scott-Barrett & Max Scratchmann. Plus music from our two fabulous chanteuses - Woodstock Taylor and Ellen Highwater.

Music Makes My Memories Magical

Once again this year, the Peacock Nursing Home in Livingston are remembering their Absent Friends with a musical afternoon. It will be an opportunity to reunite relatives who have lost their loved ones while they were a resident in the home.

It will be a cheerful afternoon of music and memories with a guest singer performing the favourite songs of past residents. Light refreshments will be provided.

Funeral Link Dundee's Tree of Remembrance

Funeral Link in Dundee will host a gathering of friends to remember those we have loved and lost. Friends, families and partner organisations local to Baxter Park will gather together and dedicate a newly planted tree in Baxter Park to the families Funeral Link has supported this year and their loved ones who have died.
