Kinning Park Complex have organised a To Absent Friends Supper, a celebration of our loved-and-lost through friendship, storytelling, food and music.
Storytelling will be provided by all the guests. Music will be provided by Blackletter, whose speciality is "playing sad songs at a variety of tempos".
Laments and heel-kicking music will help prompt memories and storytelling and provide space for reflection between chat… just like a traditional wake after a funeral.
The evening will be hosted by Barbara Chalmers of Final Fling, the award-winning community for end of life planning.
