The Memory Tree

An event to remember & celebrate the lives of those close to us, who have passed on.

Gathering at the ancient oak tree in Scott Park, Galashiels, we will hear a story on the theme of death, re-birth and remembrance. We will then walk to a sheltered spot in Galashiels Policies, have a hot drink around the fire, with opportunities to reflect on our loved ones, and share remembrance in a beautiful woodland setting.

This event is free of charge and is suitable for adults, and children over 12, who have experienced bereavement. Numbers are limited so booking is essential. You must to be able to walk for 10 - 15 minutes in and out of the woods. We will meet at the entrance to Scott Park on Livingston Place, Galashiels, just before 2pm, where you will be directed to the oak tree for the start of the session. Free on street parking is available close by on all neighbouring streets.
