I lost my mum when I was pregnant with my daughter Chelsea at 28 years old...she had battled cancer and eventually lost her fight when she was 65 years old.
I was so glad her suffering was over but my heart still aches for her physical presence and she is always in my thoughts .I picture her at her happiest, slippers on, in front of the fire, watching "Corrie" whilst knitting ( we were never short of jumpers in our house) cup of tea always on the go Her life revolved around her family and she only ever wanted us to be happy. A truly selfless soul.
